Well, we just got back from our vacation to Lake Michigan, and this is what we came back with…

Well, we have come to the end of May and I sit here thinking of what has transpired recently. Madelin has 2 weeks of her first year of school left and I still remember the first day taking her and dropping her off. (By the way, my wife MADE me do it, I didn’t want to…) She has been an exceptional student and I couldn’t be prouder. She is definitely finishing strong (just like I have taught her!)
I have finished my first class toward my Doctorate degree, and boy was it fun! Class from 8-5, then 6 hours of homework each night, and do it all over again! (for 5 straight days!!!) But I have talked to many who have gone before and the encouragement is exceptional here! (I am in the DBA program at Anderson University in Indiana; it has been top notch thus far!) Also, I am almost finished with my 2nd year of teaching at MVNU, and I still wonder how God got me into such a great work situation. Professoring Rocks!
Abigail can breathe a big sigh of relief in finishing another year of Moms-2-Moms ministry leadership in our church. This is the 2nd year she has done it, and it is a lot of work for her (I am so neglected!) But I can also say I am proud of her using her talents and abilities to minister to young mothers in our community. She continues to amaze me in all she does, doing it so well!
So as we stand here at the threshold of another summer, it is good for me reflect and see how God has blessed our family through the past 9-12 months, and can only be amazed at His strength and grace…
Soon to come, a lot of stuff most of you don’t care about, but a few do, so we do this…
